Black Cardamom also known as Brown Cardamom and " Badi Elaichi " or " Moti Elaichi " in Hindi and " Elaichi / Yaalukkaya " in telugu.Black cardamom pods can be used in soups, chowders and marinades for smoky flavor.It is a common ingredient in Indian cooking. In India it is used in rice dishes and curries etc.Black cardamom can be used liberally and won’t dominate a dish, in fact it enhances and intensifies the flavors of the other ingredients.
