Ingredients :-
2 cups boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp black pepper powder (Kali Mirch ) (Optional)
salt to taste
Method:-
1) First Rinse the corn kernels with water. If you are using fresh corn on the cob, separate the kernels from the corn.
2) Boil the corn kernels in water for 6-7 minutes or until they become soft. OR You can also microwave them for 2-3 minutes instead.
3) Drain the water from the corn.
4) Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the sweet corn kernels, and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
5) Add the chilli powder, chaat masala, lemon juice and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
6) Serve immediately Warm.You can also prepare this recipe in advance and reheat it slightly at the time of serving.

Fruit salad can be served as an appetizer, a side-salad, snack or a dessert.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes
Yield: about 6 cups
Serving Size: 1 cup
Ingredients
2 Apples (Cored and Diced)
1 Papaya (Medium Size )
3 Guavas (chopped)
1 whole pomegranate (Seeded)
2 whole bananas (Peeled and Sliced)
2, 6-ounce containers non-fat, Greek honey yogurt (optional)
Method
First wash all the fruits properly.
Peel and chop the Papaya into small pieces.
Chop the apples and guavas into small pieces. discarding the cores .
Peel and slice the bananas.
Take a large bowl and mix apple,banana,guava,papaya together well.
Add pomegranate seeds and toss together until well combined.
Serve plain or with a side of yogurt or with a Greek yogurt mixed with honey.

We worship bal gopal at home and temples and prepare his favorite dishes which include sweets and savory dishes. Then on the midnight of Janmashtami, we offer these dishes to Lord Krishna in order to welcome him on the earth. It’s believed that Gopalkala is one of his favorite treats.Gopalkala is an extremely nutritious and scrumptious dish, generally prepared on the occasion of Janmashtami .Gopalkala is prepared with Poha, ghee,curd and cucumber it’s very easy to prepare and just take few minutes to be ready and tastes heavenly.
Ingredients:
250 gms Pressed Rice /Beaten Rice (Poha)
1/2 cup Fresh Coconut (grated or scraped )
1/2 inch Ginger (finely chopped)
50 gms or1/2 cup Curd
1/2 tsp Sugar
2 Green Chillies (finely chopped)
100 gms or 1 mediumCucumber (finely chopped)
1 tbsp Ghee
1 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
Salt to taste
Few Coriander leaves ( finely chopped ) for garnishing (optional)
Method:-
1) Wash the poha under running water. Keep in a colander so that the excess water drains away.
2) Separately beat the curd, salt, sugar and finely chopped cucumber.
3) Mix Poha with scraped coconut and beaten curd mixture.
4) Now heat ghee in a frying pan.
5) Saute jeera, ginger and green chillies in the ghee.
6) Pour the tempering over the poha and mix well.
7) Garnish with chopped coriander
8) Gopalkala is ready to be served.
Tip:-
If the poha is soaking up too much of moisture then you can add butter milk.
