Guava Halwa


Ingredients:-

2 medium size guavas
10 tbsp Sugar (Adjust according to your taste)
1 tbsp Ghee
1/2 cup water
Crushed cardamom-a pinch
A few Almonds,cashews,Raisns for garnishing



Method:-

1) Cut guavas into 4 big pieces and remove the seeds. Then Cut the gauava into small pieces.
2) Steam the guava pieces till soft in pressure cooker.
3) Cool and blend in a mixie.If necessary add very little bit of water and blend.
4) In a pan add sugar and water (very little water till it immerses the sugar) and cook.
5) After sugar disolves completely add blended guava paste.
6) Cook till it begins to thicken.Add ghee little at a time and continue to cook stirring on low flame.Stir continuously so that it does not stick to the bottom.
7) Cook until the mixture comes close or becomes thick..Add Crushed cardamom.
8)Serve garnished with chopped nuts.
Healthy and Lip smacking Halwa is ready :-)
