Ingredients:
1 cup Gram Flour (Besan)
1 Onion finely cut
1 Tomato finely cut
1 Tomato sliced
¼ tsp baking soda
3 tsp Oil
Finely chopped coriander
Turmeric powder
1 tsp Chilli powder or 3-4 green chillies chopped
Bread slices
Salt
Makes 4 omelettes
Preparation Time: 15 min
Method:
- Mix gram flour, tomato, onion, turmeric powder, chili powder, oil, salt, baking soda,coriander and water into a medium thick batter.
- Heat a skillet (tava), smear it with oil, spread the batter and place a tomato slice in the centre.
- When cooked, pour a teaspoon of oil over it and flip it over.
- Cook until done and serve with tomato sauce and toasted bread.
